WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER AT OOTBWC.

We believe in the power of community. And we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let’s pray together today. If you have a prayer request, leave it in the comments section below. Then, pray for the people who have posted above you, and reply to their post to let them know you’ve prayed. When you finish, share this prayer chain with your friends so we can pray for them too.

Whether you’re new here or a long-time member, we invite you to join us at fumcoutofthebox.com every Monday for prayer. If you need to speak with our pastor, contact him here.

“HUMBLE YOURSELVES, THEREFORE, UNDER THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD SO THAT AT THE PROPER TIME HE MAY EXALT YOU, CASTING ALL YOUR ANXIETIES ON HIM, BECAUSE HE CARES FOR YOU” (1 PETER 5:7, ESV).

Our friend, Janet, who lives in PA, has been given only hours to live. Please pray for God’s intervention. She is clearly a follower of Jesus, and has a home waiting in Heaven, but it is so hard to think of losing such a lovely person. Pray, too, for her husband John and their children. Thank you

I have a lot of family issues going on right now with a lot of potential problems and issues. I want it to work out the way God wants it to work out. So I am praying that he will resolve the issues the way only he can. On a bitter sweet note, I have two interviews this week in North Carolina. If I get one, I could live in Winston and still come back to OOTBWC, if I were to get the other, I would be too far away. However, I need a job and have been praying for God to give me a job he wants me to have.

I would like to lift up the ministries of Camp Dickinson. It’s been a highlight of Jacob’s last two summers to serve but all the staff need renewed strength for these last two weeks. There love for all God and his children has touched so many lives.
