We believe in the power of prayer at OOTBWC.
We believe in the power of community. And we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Let’s pray together today. If you have a prayer request, leave it in the comments section below. Then, pray for the people who have posted above you, and reply to their post to let them know you’ve prayed. When you finish, share this prayer chain with your friends so we can pray for them too.
Whether you’re new here or a long-time member, we invite you to join us at fumcoutofthebox.com every Monday for prayer. If you need to speak with our pastor, contact him here.
A special prayer for Mon 6/17
We’re posting a day early this week. For those who don’t know, Pastor Ronnie’s father was in a terrible motorcycle accident on Friday. Gray Collins has facial, neck, & chest trauma, & some broken bones. Ronnie has spent the last 3 days with his father in ICU at Baptist Medical center. Ronnie says “Thank you all for your prayers. You are all my hero’s. God is hearing your prayers and my dad has come through a very bad accident. I believe that God has a plan for my dad and that his work on earth isn’t finished. We have a long road to recovery, dads injuries are extensive. But with God all things are possible. Remember my mom and the family also as we are camped out by his side. We love you guys.“
Let’s show our pastor how much we love him by posting prayers for Gray Collins in the comment section below.
As usual, if you have other requests, post them below and we’ll pray!
It is with sadness that we share with you that Ronnie’s dad, Gray Collins, passed away this morning Monday June 17th. Please keep Ronnie, his mom Sylvia, and all of the family in your thoughts and prayers.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, June 20. 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Ronnie G. Collins and Rev. Ty Harrison. Burial will follow in the Flower Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends 6-9 pm Wednesday at Moody Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Out Of The Box Worship Center, PO Box 356, Hillsville, VA 24343.
Ronnie prayed for his daddy for many many years, and in 2011 he accepted Christ. Ronnie was able to baptize his daddy in the New River. We rejoice in knowing that Gray is now living with His Father and Ronnie will get to see him again soon..
