Let’s stand our ground…

November 11, 2010

Ephesians 6: 11:13

11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

This scripture was sent to me by a friend who prays for me daily and it was needed this morning as a reminder. Thank you friend!

In these days when we are starting a work with God to introduce more people to the Creator of the Universe, the One we are created in the image of, it is a constant battle.

We tend to get our eyes off the real enemy and think that those Satan uses are the enemy, but the Bible says that is not true. The real battle is with Satan and his demon angels. It is Satans desire to stop the work that is happening in Carroll County, not just at Out of the Box but anywhere the work of God is going on.

Lets stand together today and every day, lets stand our ground. God has already defeated Satan and his schemes are just that, they are schemes. If the enemy can cause a disturbance, a smoke screen, just anything to get us distracted from the work and engaged in a battle with those he is able to use, then he wins that battle. Lets determine that he will not win the battle of this day and every day from here on. Lets stand together, don’t give in and smile in the face of evil.
